Excursions & Trips

Educational tours are a crucial component of the academic program because they give students the chance to learn outside of the classroom and get useful practical experience. There is a proverb that goes “I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I comprehend” and it refers to the idea that seeing something being done in a certain location helps people remember it better.

Generally, educational tours are a great way for students to learn about different subjects, cultures, and historical events in a hands-on and interactive way. Some examples of educational tours include:

Science and Nature Tours: These tours take students to museums, zoos, aquariums or natural habitats to learn about various scientific concepts and the natural world.

Historical Tours: These tours take students to historical landmarks and sites, such as battlefields, museums, or cultural centers, to learn about significant events in history and different cultures.

Art and Cultural Tours: These tours take students to art museums, galleries, or cultural centers to learn about different artistic styles and cultural traditions.

Community Service Tours: These tours take students to locations where they participate in community service projects, such as helping to rebuild homes or assisting with environmental conservation efforts.

Sports

While most subjects at school are taught mainly in the classroom, sports and physical education provide a great opportunity for children to head outside, become active, and focus on developing their physical as well as mental health.

The importance of sports in school education is vast, and they aren’t just limited to physical activities as children today choose sports as their career and it has become equally essential as academic values.

Children now are not considering sports just as physical activity subject of the school curriculum, but turning it into their passion and career to pursue the dream of becoming great athletes to represent the country internationally.

Sports Education is an integral part of Rising Star School. The Sports Program at RSA delivers an elite sports curriculum with state-of-the-art facilities designed to nurture young-sports aspirants and encourage high athletic spirit in the students.
